How much would an aquarium bed frame cost?

My son has been going on about those bed frames with the fish tank built into the headboard ever since he saw one online. Our bedroom is a decent size so space isn't the issue, it's more whether this is a bespoke joinery job or something you buy off the shelf. What would a carpenter charge to build one, with or without the tank itself?

Im not to certain its a thing you can buy off the shelf
In my opinion it would be better to make a sort of media wall but with the fish tank instead of tv
You can make as big as you like and what ever shape you like, you can include shelves if you like
Push the bed up to the wall, the wall would become the headboard
For the whole thing built and finished , i would be charging around 5K

Never made one before, but it sounds like a really great job to do. Having a quick look myself the average cost seems to be around £10k but I’d be happy to look into it more

All depends on materials, made from ‘red wood’, oak etc. building a frame is easy enough. I would go down the route of buying a suitable tank and building around it
